1. IIIT Hyderabad is the best among all the IIIT's and can be compared to IIT's. It was the first IIIT established. It offers admission on the basis of JEE Mains Paper I Score. There is no reservation in this institute. It offers B.Tech in CSE. The placements here are the best. This is the only IIIT which is better than all NIT's. You have to fill separate form for this amazing institute. 2. IIIT-Allahabad comes next. It was established after IIIT-Hyderabad. It offers B.Tech in IT. It can be regarded as one of the best institutes to offer an undergraduate course in B.Tech IT. If you don't get Hyderabad, Allahabad could be the option for you. Placement is great. 3. IIIT-Delhi comes next. Though it was established in 2008, it is developing at a very fast pace(the reason being faculty+location Delhi). It has a great faculty which has also become the prime reason for their high fees. Placement has been improving year by year at a very fast pace. You have to fill separate form for it. It is on the similar guidelines as IIIT- Hyderabad. 4. IIIT-Gwalior. If you are interested in coding/ computers this again could be the place if you don't get the above 3 IIIT's. You can get into this institute through CSAB. 5. IIIT-Bangalore. This institute has started offering B.Tech + M.Tech (dual degree) from last year. This institute has been great for research. This is ranked below since one can always do his M.Tech/ MS from foreign, IITs, IISC-Bangalore, and other good institutes. You have to apply separately for this institute too.
