    1. NIT Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu
    Ranked 12th among 'Top 100 Engineering Institutes for Research and Teaching' in India by National Institutional Ranking Framework (MHRD) in 2016
    MOU's with Indian/foreign universities for student exchange, faculty exchange and research projects
    ASSOCHAM presented the National Excellence Award for the Best use of ICT/MOOC in Education (South) in 2016

    The National Institutes of Technology (NITs), the second best engineering institutes after IITs, are a group of premier public engineering colleges in India. The NITs receive special recognition and grant from the Government of India.

    The top five NITs in India are, NIT Warangal, NIT Trichy, NIt Surathkal, MNIT Jaipur, NIT Allahabad.
    These NITs are the places where you cannot expect a branch for less than two thirty score.
    The most important and major plus point of central government institutes such as NITs are that they get immensely funded by the government. This money along with our fee gets rewarded to us in the form of facilities and to get us to the top.
    Now, in these NITs, the curriculum is well arranged and practiced by government teachers and officials. Though, the same is practiced in all the nits but the quality of the students and teacher are exceptional
