Which are the top private engineering colleges in Bihar?

Birla Institute of Technology, Patna which is an extension centre of Birla Institute of Technology (BIT)-Mesra is the only good private engineering college in Bihar. BIT-Mesra conducts its separate counselling to admit students in its extension centres. BIT-Patna is the best extension centre of BIT Mesra. Birla tag will help you a lot. Atleast you will get marksheet of BIT Mesra after your engineering. BIT Patna has 25 acres of lush green campus and follows some strict rules. Its in the mid of the city. Coming to the placement part, it's not too good but average package for CSE is around 3-4 Lacs per annum.Top students will be called to attend placement drive at BIT Mesra.Faculties are good and supportive. NSIT Bihta (around 20 KM's from Patna) may be another good choice. Campus is not so big. You will get average crowd there.Last year around 234 students got placed (God knows the correct statistics). I will suggest you not to join any other private engineering college in Bihar. No placement, no exposure and useless faculties can ruin your career. I hope this will help you.

Bihar is one the developing state of India which always try to contribute to the development of India. Due to some reason image of Bihar is not so good in front of outer society but still this state trying to enhance itself. This is a state which has one of the oldest university Nalanda and Vikramashila in which student from all around the world came for study this mean Bihar think about these thing since long time. Govt always trying to find a way so that image of Bihar should be positive in all the field and trying to established good college so that aging student like Xuanzang from China and many other country came here for higher study. Engineering become a first choice among many youngest student for UG course so Bihar also developing their govt and private college so that student can study here instead of spending lot of money in same degree in other state. Admission Process:- Admission in any private college is possible through exam called BPTPIA Eligibility:- 50% Minimum marks in PCM needed for admission Fee:- Normally Fee for all the college is almost same around 4Lakh. Here few private college which is good 1.Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, Patna Total Faculty In College: 178 Campus around 11Acres Placement is quite good as compared to all other private college of Bihar. Average Salary is around 4.5Lakh per annum 5 Branch available here Polytechnic course also available here. 2.Maulana Azad College of Engineering and Technology, Patna Campus around 18 Acres Total Faculty In College: 69 Placement is average of 4 lakh per annum 5 branch available for UG 3.AZMET college of engineering & technology Campus is quite good Placement is average Total Faculty in College: 72 5Barnch available for engineering UG course available and polytechnic course also available 4.Sityog Institute of Technology, Aurangabad Total Faculty In College: 136 Campus is average 8 Branch available for engineering UG Course Placement is average depends upon student luck Total 20 private college are in Bihar but these are above average which is good for study. These college is a hope for many student who are financial not so much strong and student who cannot go to other state for study. Hi there, Well, to be frank, Bihar is not very much known for private engineering colleges, however, Bihar is having a private college that is worth studying which is BIT-Patna. Here are some of the insights of this college. BIT-Patna which is an extension of BIT-Mesra is an average college. If I talk about its campus, it is not very big but well-maintained campus spread over 25 acres in the heart of city Patna.Total intake of the college is 600 and the highest package is around 7.5 Lacs and average package is around 3.5 Lacs. Major recruiters: Philips, Bhushan Steel, Avtech, Shahi Exports, Verizon, Mindtree, Vedanta, Tech Mahindra, MU Sigma, Wipro, Oracle, etc. Note- If you are looking forward to doing engineering then don't do it from Bihar unless you get IIT-Patna & NIT-Patna. Just find any other alternatives other than relying on private colleges of Bihar. Hope this helps.
