There are so many engineering, medical and commerce colleges in Haryana. The state have some Institutes of national importance as well as state government colleges. The state universities like YMCA University of science and technology and Deen Bandhu Chhoturam University of science and technology are very good in terms of Placement, faculties and infrastructure. The state is still waiting for an Indian institute of technology (IIT). However, a National institute of technology (NIT) is there which is in Kurukshetra. Apart from these colleges, the state has good number of private engineering colleges as well. Some of the top private engineering colleges in Haryana are: 1. All are the money making institution but there are some institutions which not only make money but also provide good education. In Haryana, some good colleges are: North Cap University, JMIT, Yamuna Nagar, Manav Rachna International University, Panipat Institute of Technology, and SRM University, Sonepat. In Punjab: Thapar University, LPU, DAV University, and Chitkara University. In Chandigarh: CGC-Landran and Chandigarh University. These were some of the good private engineering colleges.

According to me, the best engineering colleges in Haryana is in Sonepat Gateway. And, SRM Haryana is not affiliated to SRM, Chennai. You will get a degree by government of Haryana.
