There are so Many engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh is only state of India which has two IITs .One is Indian institute of technology Kanpur and another one is Indian institute of technology Banaras Hindu University (IIT-BHU), Varanasi. Many other Institute of national importance are there in the state. Like NIT and IIIT Allahabad. Following is the list of colleges which I feel are good (in order as per me): -) JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida (Best) -) KIET School of Engineering, Ghaziabad -) Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida -) Amity School of Engineering, Noida -) Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida -) Amity School of Engineering, Noida -) IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad -) ABES Engineering College, Ghaziabad -) GLA University, Mathura There are other colleges also which I think are not so good: -) Institute of Engineering and Technology, Sitapur -) GLA University, Mathura -) Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad -) Babu Banarasi Das University, Lucknow -) Sharda University, Greater Noida -) Hindustan College of Science and Technology, Agra(HCST) -) Anand Engineering College, Agra Also, most of these private colleges are good for placements in computer science and IT Branch. Rest branch students also most likely get the jobs in CS/IT companies as very fewer placements occur in core companies.
