You might be disappointed with your MBA exam results, but you should not lose heart as you may still get calls from B-schools which give very low weightage to MBA exam scores like CAT or XAT. Such B-schools shortlist candidates with percentile range as low as 50 to 60 or above. Don't take me wrong, but do you really think that with 38% marks and 39% marks in CAT, you can get admission in any MBA or PGDM college? My opinion is that just have one more try for CAT (along with CAT try to clear GMAT IIFT etc.). And score a good percentile, because with 38% marks in CAT, you can hardly get any college. And trust me, doing MBA or PGDM from that type of college in nothing, but a wastage of time and money. So, give one more chance to yourself and appear CAT again. Along with that, gain work experience to get additional weightage.
