LPU provides scholarship to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students on the basis of the following categories: Scholarship applicable on the basis of Qualifying exam National Level Test LPUNEST exam Sports Cultural R & D Co-curricular Social Service Bravery Awards Special Scholarship for Toppers of Education Board Scholarship for Orphan Applicants/Single girl child Scholarship for Person with Certain Disability Students who have topped their board examination of eligibility qualification (10th or 10+2 as applicable) and are among the top 20 merit holders, may avail scholarships of full tuition fee waiver and hostel fee waiver which is applicable to four-seater air-cooled room. To facilitate quality education to deserving applicants, LPU offers a special scholarship of Full Tuition fee waiver to orphan students who are residents of India and whose both parents are dead. A maximum of 10 applicants will be awarded this scholarship on the basis of a first come first serve basis subject to satisfying the LPU policy for the same. Applicant having Benchmark disability of more than 70% and/or Locomotor disability caused by spinal cord injury can avail the benefit of full programme fee waiver subject his/her case being approved by Special Committee constituted by LPU. LPU offers exclusive Scholarship schemes for Tibetan Students studying in CTA (Central Tibetan Administration) Schools and Students studying in different schools managed by Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan where on the basis of test conducted in schools of the concerned organisation and/or recommendation of the concerned authority of the organisation, certain students may be offered full tuition fee waiver. LPU's motto is to provide scholarship to all the students of the University. There are multiple segments of scholarships are available for the students. With this effort students are encouraged to get their quality education from the globally renowned University in most beneficial & affordable way. I had pursued my B.Tech. Followed by MBA from LPU with the highest benefit of academic scholarship through LPU NEST Exam. One thing is good in LPU in terms of scholarship that, if any student is entitled with Academic Scholarship in the first semester, the same amount of scholarship will remain applicable for all the semesters of study. That means it will remain recurring type for all the semesters till the end of the course. There are various categories of scholarships that are offered by LPU and the candidate is eligible to avail any one. The scholarships are awarded at the time of admission. So, the University extends the Scholarship and Financial Aid Scheme which is an initiative by the University to cultivate the talent of students that may be hidden due to financial constraints. As per my knowledge after discussion with a few students of LPU, they told me that LPU offers scholarship to all the students on the basis of the following points: 1. LPU NEST exam performance 2. Qualifying Exam or Academics 3. Spots Scholarship, Defence, Extra-curricular activities 4. On the basis of National Level Test such as JEE Main CAT/MAT/XAT/GPAT/GATE/UGC, etc. 5. Special Scholarship for Female candidate to pursue Ph.D. from LPU. LPU is the university that believes that there shouldn't be any money issues for students who have dreams and for that reason they have so many scholarships. And as far as I know, they offer these scholarships written below Well, I gave LPU NEST exam so I do know that there is up to 50% scholarship through LPU NEST Exam. 100% scholarship may also be achieved through Sports / Cultural Scholarship. It can also be provided to the students based on the Percentage in the Qualifying Exam. I have few friends whose parents are in Defense so yes defense Scholarship is also given to Defense personnel. Scholarship can also be achieved based on Rank achieved in National level Tests. If any students are Board Topper, Orphan in that case also. The scholarship is also extended to a person with a certain disability. Also the best part of scholarships from LPU in terms of scholarship that, scholarship amount remains the same throughout the course. I hope this helps you :). .

LPU believes that monetary hurdles should not hinder the academic progress of any student. LPU offers many scholarships on various parameters and one of them is based on your performance in LPU NEST. In many courses LPU NEST is mandatory but in some courses its is merely for scholarship. Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories: 1. Eligibility Qualification: The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of Eligibility qualification. 2. Certain National Level Tests (like JEE Main NEET UCEED CAT MAT GATE GPAT etc. ) 3. LPU NEST. (LPU National Entrance & Scholarship Test) 4. Performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards 5. If I talk about Scholarships LPU gives plenty of scholarships based on Sports certifications, Bravery awards based, outer agencies scholarships, Fee Concession for Defence, and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) personnel and their dependents. Special Scholarship for Toppers of Education Board. Scholarship for Orphan Applicants. Scholarship for Person with Certain Disability. And LPU has it's very own national level test they also provide scholarship based on this LPU NEST test also this prove the eligibility of the student in various programs.
