    Dear Vaibhav,
    My advice will go for:
#1) Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi.
    #2) Amity University NOIDA.
However, you should to apply first in IP University because of the good ROI. However. Your second preference may go for Amity university Noida. Hope this Helps.

    Hi,
The best engineering colleges are the ones which give you good placements. You can browse some good besides the IITs and NITs sites like :
SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai. RV College of Engineering, Bangalore. Lovely Professional University, Phagwara. Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore. For lateral entry. Each has its own worth. LPU ranked as a premier brand for placements in the North and then Anna also a premier brand from South.
Check the entrance level exams and decide before the seats fill up.

    Hi Vaibhav,
TIET (Thapar University of Engineering and Technology) is currently inviting applications for BE/B.Tech second semester admissions 2018. My cousin just applied for it, hence I can tell you for sure that the college has a good faculty and even gives platforms for global exposure.

Lateral admissions are controlled by the respective states for seats in their states. Some states conduct entrance exams while some like Maharashtra base their process on marks obtained in the qualifying exam. Each state will have its own list of colleges in demand. As you have not mentioned your state, I can't answer, but you will get an answer on the "Shiksha" webpage.

You missed it, but it's never too late. One of the best colleges for B.Tech lateral entry is Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. The college allows students to enter laterally (which is basically giving them a second chance), so that they can genuinely study and become engineers. B.Tech at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is a pretty great decision, considering the faculty, placements, and curriculum and so on.
