    Hello Harsha, GIBS, Bangalore is one of the top institutions in India that offers PGDM programs. It is affiliated with Bangalore University and approved by AICTE.     Yes, GIBS B-School is the top most college, it is worthwhile studying MBA in Finance. GIBS, Bangalore is the best excellent college in Bangalore where you can gain business and financial skills needed to work in a number of enterprises.     Every college tells that it is the topmost college but I can suggest you the college which helped my sister's carer in finace. She did MBA Finance at GIBS, Bangalore and this is one well-known institute and top-ranked college. They guided her well and she got placed in the college campus.     Being a student of VJIM, I can only help you with details of VJIM. VJIM is one of the best B-Schools in Hyderabad in terms of course curriculum as well as infrastructure. VJIM offers an average package of around 4.3 LPA. Some of the major recruiters who visit VJIM for placements are Deloitte, ICICI group, T.I.M.E, Tech Mahindra, Mahindra Finance, S&P Global, Vivo Mobiles, etc. We also had one international placement from CP Group this year.
