Computer science engineers are involved in many aspects of computing from the design of individual microprocessors, personal computers and supercomputers to circuit designing and writing software that powers them.
Information technology deals with the use of electronic computers and computer software to store, protect the process, transmit and securely retrieve data. IT professionals perform a variety of tasks that range from installing applications to designing complex computer networks and information databases.
Both the branches are good, opt for the branch in which you are interested.

Both B.Tech CSE and B.Tec IT degrees are equally good with 80% similar syllabus. CSE graduates have better systems concepts in vompari oyo IT grafuates. CSE graduates have a minor edge over IT graduates. CSE graduates get both Apps and System development job whereas IT graduates are preferred for Apps development roles. Indian IT industry give only Apps development job to IT graduates. B.Tech CSE graduates may also get 10 to 15 % better CTC in comparison to IT graduates if they are from reputed Engineering colleges like IIT or NITs etc.
