Which B.Tech branch is better between IT and CS?

As per course content in B.Tech, CS students study 3 or 4 subjects more than IT such as DSP, Automata, DIP and DAA.
As placement or company point of view, both branches of B.Tech has equal priority. There is no difference as such.

CS is better, in CS you have to deal with programming languages and software development.
