Which B.Tech branch should I prefer among civil and mechanical?

The scope of mechanical is far better. -
Both the branches have their own importance. It depends upon your interest and the availability of jobs. Government is stressing upon infrastructure building. New projects of state government are also adding opportunities for civil engineers. Mechanical has its own importance as without machines we cannot make new roads, bridges, etc.
