Which B.Tech stream should I choose between ECE and mechanical engineering? I am appearing for 12th exams with biology and maths.

Both, ECE and mechanical engineering are good branches. Mechanical is core and old branch, while ECE is comparatively new. Choosing a stream entirely depends on your interest. If you are interested towards electronics and like to work in the field of electronics, you can choose ECE. And the placements are also good in ECE. Else, if your interest is towards the mechanical stream, you can take mechanical engineering.

You should choose ECE branch because it is the most demanded branch in the modern era because of the system with the automation. Each and every where the automation spreads the main branch ECE competes for the automation in the field of engineering.
