Which Bachelors degree is appropriate for joining CDS, CAPF, OTA and AFCAT?

Eligibility for the exam Education : Graduation (min 3 years) in any discipline with min 60% marks and have passed Maths and Physics as subject at 10+2 level BE/ B.Tech from a recognised University with min 60% marks. Age Limit : 20 to 24 years.

Hi DIlip, There is not any particular degree which makes qualified for all these exams. They all have separate minimum eligibility criteria according to job and examination needs., which are mentioned below Eligibility criteria for CDS/OTA: For IMA /OTA : A degree from a recognized University or equivalent. For Indian Naval Academy: Bachelor of engineering. For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognized university (with physics and mathematics at 10 +2 level ) or Bachelor of engineering. Eligibility criteria for CAPF: candidate must be a Bachelors Degree if a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification. Note: Candidates appearing in the degree exam are allowed to appear this exam but they submit proof of passing along with the detailed application forms which are to be submitted after the qualification the written test, medical standards test and physically test. Eligibility criteria for AFCAT: Flying Branch: Graduation (Minimum three-year degree course) in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers & have passed Maths and Physics at 10+2 level. Technical Branch (Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) / Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical): Four year degree/ integrated Post Graduation qualification or cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India. Ground Duty Branch (Administration & Logistics / Accounts / Education): Graduation with 60% marks/ B. Com. Degree/ MBA/ MCA or MA/ M.Sc Degree in English/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Statistics/ International relations/ International studies/ Defence studies/ Psychology/ Computer Science/ IT/ Management / Mass Communication/ Journalism/ Public Relation with minimum of 50% marks
