SAT is not concerned if you are from CBSE or ICSE, so either one is good.

This question is being asked again and again over internet. Catch is CBSE has regional kind of thing which sometimes does help for 12. Study wise it is how well you acclimatize to syllabus and question pattern. I felt myself more suited to CBSE but cant say ICSE is unsuitable. So just give a look at

Hello, It is English of the ICSE schools, which provides them an edge among other boards. Since, SAT requires the high level of English. Therefore, ICSE outshines CBSE.

Since SAT is mostly English language related, I would say ICSE board will be better, as in ICSE Shakespearean literature is taught and moreover the grammar taught is also quite upgraded. All the best.
