    Prefer these books for entrance:-
    A Text Book of Physical Chemistry, A. S. Negi and S. C. Anand.
    Advanced Inorganic Chemistry by Cotton and Wilkinson.
    An Introduction to Chemical Thermodynamics by R. P. Rastogi and R. Mishra.
    Applications of Absorption Spectroscopy of Organic Compounds by J. R. Dyer.
    Basic Inorganic Chemistry by F. A. Cotton, G. Wilkinson & P. L. Gaus.
    Organic Chemistry by S M Mukherji, S P Sing & R P Kapoor.
    Physical Chemistry by K. L. Kapoor.

    You have to read all the basics of chemistry. You can read this book which will be very helpful Physical Chemistry by P. Bahadur.
    The syllabi for entrance tests along with the structure of the question paper and other necessary details including marks breakup, important instructions etc.can be downloaded from the Jamias website
