    There are several books of History that can help a candidate prepare for and qualify various entrance exams of MA History. Some of which are mentioned below:

    • Government authorized school level books of History: These books cover basic but essential facts and concepts that can help a candidate start from scratch.
    • Books covered in BA History such as India's Ancient Past, History of Modern India and Early Social Formations.
    • IGNOU BA History and MA History materials.

    Suggestion: Studying from books for entrance exams though is essential but not sufficient. Candidates are advised to go through previous year question papers and practice moc
