UGC NET is a national level entrance exam through which candidates are awarded for Junior Research Fellowship and for the lectureship. There is no specific book or guide to prepare for UGC NET. You can buy some popular books like Arihant, Gupta, etc. only to start your preparation and have an overall glimpse over the subject.

The NTA is expected to release the UGC NET 2026 provisional answer key soon on the official portal at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. To download the answer key, candidates required application number, date of birth or password and security pin. The exam was condcuted from June 22 to June 30, 2026.
