    D- Practice Workbook XAT Common Management Admission Test by G K P
    E- The Pearson Complete Guide to the XAT by Showick Thorpe, Edgar Thorpe
    F- Concepts of Numbers for CAT, GMAT, XAT, CMAT and Other Quantitative Aptitude Exams by Gajendra Kumar
    Apart from the above-listed books, the candidate should practice mock questions, past year questions to get a feel of how questions would look like in XAT.

    Dear student.
    In order to score anything above 95 percentile in XAT exam, do refer below-mentioned books but with that, you need to practice as much as possible as this is the thing which is going to help you at the end.
    Quantitative aptitude- Arun Verma
    Verbal ability- Meenakshi Upa. or Ajay Singh
    Quantum- Arun Verma
    Data interpretation - Arun Verma
    General knowledge - Manohar Pandey
    Do practice as much as possible as this will help you with your speed in solving problems. Also, judgment with respect to given question in an exam which will reduce your negative marking and save time for questions which you are good at.

For PGDM IEV, candidates can also take admission without XAT based on their scores in CAT, MAT, GMAT, etc. Candidates have to register on the offical website of XAT to appear for the test. XAT is conducted by XLRI in online mode every year.

No, you cannot use the score of XAT 2025 for admission to 2026 batch at XLRI as the validity of exam score is one year only. Thus, you will have to appear for XAT 2026 exam if you plan to pursue MBA from XLRI in 2026. The registration process for XAT 2026 is open and the last date to apply is December 5, 2025.

The total course fee of full time MBA at XLRI is INR 28 Lacs according to Shiksha. The fee is to be paid semester wise. The first installment is to be paid at the time of admission. The XLRI course fee includes tuition fees, hostel and mess charges, caution money, library chargers and other miscellaneous services.
