The paper will consist of three parts Physics, Chemistry, and Biology respectively. The total time allotted for the exams will be 3 hours. The number of questions for each subject is listed below:
    Physics: 50 questions.
    Chemistry: 50 questions.
    Biology: 100 questions.
Therefore, the total number of questions for the total time allotted (3 hrs) will be 200 questions. To score higher, you will require a lot of practice since CET is more about speed.
Here are few books for MHTCET to score good marks:

MHCET or Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is conducted by the DTE (Directorate of Technical Education), Maharashtra for admissions to the first year BE/B.Tech programmes in the state.
For MHCET, I would recommend you to be proficient with your HSC textbooks first. Treat your every textbook (Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology for some) as a bible and learn every thing from it.
Make sure you read the theory from these textbooks at least 3 times before the main exam.
For solving questions, I would suggest getting some good coaching centre books for MHCET. Also, solve all the numericals in the textbooks.
