Which books should I refer to get top 100 rank in WBJEE?

    WBJEE is predominantly a test that tests a candidate for speed. The questions are generally based on a single concept and are not so complex. Hence, you need not go to deeper levels of theory to ace this test. If one is preparing diligently for JEE then the same prep can be easily translated for WBJEE. The single most important resource I would recommend would be the previous year questions. Arihant publications has a booklet that has solved the past 15 years of the WBJEE. This may come in handy to fine tune your preparation.
    Other books that can be referred are-
    Physics- NCERT textbooks of classes 11 and 12, Pradeep publication and HC V

    3) Understanding Physics series (for practice only), D.C. Pandey
    The best books for chemistry paper preparation are listed below:
    1) NCERT Chemistry (best recommended book for WBJEE), NCERT
    2) Physical Chemistry (for practice), O.P. Tandon
    3) Inorganic Chemistry (for theory and practice), O.P. Tandon

    From my personal experience, I found WBJEE 2k11 to be quite simple. Especially if your are a serious IIT aspirant.As your class 11 and class 12 books build a basis, you can also refer to the books below which will give you a extra understanding of the possible questions:
    Objective Mathematics by RD Sharma,Objective approach to Mathematics by A M Agarwal ,Play with Graphs (The BEAST for co-ordinate understanding) by A M Agarwal
    Understanding Physics by DC Pandey (5 parts),New Pattern Physics by Gupta brothers (JPNP publication).
    Physical Chemistry by P Bahadur,Inorganic Chemistry by O P Tandon,Organic Chemistry by R K Gupta.
