Which branch among computer engineering and IT is better?

    Hello Sayali,
    While Computer Engineering equally covers both hardware and software aspects, Information Technology and software engineering has a lesser focus on the hardware aspect. However, this difference hardly matters as universities frequently keep updating the syllabus for each branch.
    Unless and until, you get a job in a hardware manufacturing company like Intel, Logitech, etc. this little difference in the syllabus hardly matters. Most of the jobs offered is in the software domain.
    So, there is no need to compare the little differences between the branches.

    They are almost same, but computer science has an upper hand in comparison to every field.
