I researched and the placements of ECE branch has got better than EE. As in the ECE branch, there will be specialisation in 2 streams, but in EE, there will be only one and hence there is more demand for ECE engineers. If you want a detailed information then you can visit Thapar's website.

Thapar University has got the better placement because of its good campus facility. Thapar provides a system of education that formally integrates academic studies with related work experience. Placements for both the fields at Thapar university look same but package offered differs with you excellence in skills and also on how you perform in the placement interview.

Thapar Instiute for Technology has very high placement rates with great packages and great companies coming on campus for placements like Microsoft, Royal Bank of Scotland, Zomato, Whirlpool and so on. All you need to do is choose what course you want to pursue and work hard in college. The remaining, Thapar's placements speak for themselves.

Hi, in my opinion, you should go for ECE as they have really good faculty and placement has increased since the last few years in this branch. Overall Thapar Institute provides quality education along with quality career opportunity. You can apply right away as the admissions are open till 14th December 2018.
