Which branch is best for placements at LPU?

LPU manages to place all the eligible and registered students across all the courses run in the campus. More than 700 companies visit the campus on exclusive or joint placement drives all through the year. The salary packages vary from 2.4 lacs per annum going upto 1 crore per annum. The main criteria seen by the companies are : Eligibility of CGPA, a assessment test in some cases and one or more rounds of interviews. How does it make it happen? Course curriculum and its dynamic up-gradation after every semester. The Center for professional enhancement plays an important part in carving out professionals from the usual students. The personality as a whole is developed to enhance the appeal of students towards the future employers. School of English language: English being a globally accepted language, students are subjected to rigorous English training to make them more employable. Massive industry interface: The industry bigwigs, functional heads and large number of industry professionals are invited to campus for delivering short term trainings and talks to the students. Computer Science & Engineering is the best branch to get placed in Top packages of about 28 Lacs (By Amazon). .

I cant say which is best but being a student pursuing B.Tech computer Science from lpu, I can tell you about my branch. As I was very much fascinated towards technology that's why I took this branch as my career. So in my opinion you should first decide what you exactly want to do and then d research about that. As per your question all the branches have decent placement. Out of all branches I think in lpu CSE branch has very good placement. Talking about this year the highest package was from B.Tech CSE I. e of 42 Lacs placed in microsoft. Other than CSE, I think in lpu agricultural also has a good placement records. Placements is not that easy task to do but if you are career oriented and make small goals to achieve big in life then you can easily get placed in not only one company but in 3-4 companies because in LPU tons of companies come every year for placements. University conduct PEP classes, mock interview classes, webinars, workshops, guest lecture from expert students kept on participating in these activities by which their skill will be enhancing and their personality comes across better. The key points for students: Attend all the lectures, maintain the attendance always and CGPA Attend all the personal enhancement classes by which you work on your personality and soft skill. Just believe in yourself and don't realia on short cuts there is no short cut in life, do hard work keep on do that after you become pro in that then do smart work it will best for you own career. So dear, LPU will give you all which you need in order to find a great job, but it is YOU who has to grab the opportunity.

Well, all branches are equally good and provide the utmost opportunities they can. Placements at LPU are a major known factor and the preparations for it start right from the first semester itself and the students are guided until and unless they secure a job for themselves. More than 200 companies visit LPU every year and students of LPU have secured good jobs with good amounts in all types of companies be it a top company or the average one, depending on their performance and skills.
