NIT Mizoram offers seven specialisations in the field of engineering. The flagship course of the university is B.Tech CSE. The Department of CSE is one of the first three departments which started during the inception of the Institute at VNIT Nagpur in the year 2010 as the only UG programme.The highest package offered by the top recruiting companies to the student of B.Tech CSE is 28 LPA. The average salary package is 7.5 LPA. After B.Tech CSE, B.Tech in CE and ECE are considered among the top branches of engineering in NIT Mizoram.
