    Hello,
First of all, there is no best or the worst branch for doing B.Tech. It fully depends on your abilities and interests. If we talked about career, then CS and IT have bright future. If anyone take admission IIT or NIT then every branch have equal opportunity. So try to take admission top colleges in India.

There is nothing called best, if you are not interested in that branch. Just following the rat race will not give you anything in life. Ask yourself which branch you want to take. You can only do better if you are interested in that. Don't think about placement or earning before learning. Every branch is good and made for specific needs of industry. If you are best in that, you will surely get good job but if you are not good in a highly demand branch then you are going to be thrown away. So take your own decision. Good luck.

All branches have their own scope. Choose carefully the branch in which you have interest. But according to the market, CSE or IT is better than others. Other than this Biotechnology, Chemical, Energy Management, Aerospace Engineering, and Textile Engineering are some good branches.

In terms of placement, it will be CSE. In terms of knowledge and opportunities, it will be mechanical. In terms of ease, it could be civil, but it can be different for people depending on their interest. To be honest, any branch of engineering is best if you have interest in it.

    Hi,
My uncle who is a successful civil engineer came to me with that day's newspaper. He wanted to show me an advertisement for the local college. The college's ad had a breakdown of branch-wise cut-off for that year. We were in Mumbai at the moment around 3 months back. Before showing me, he wanted to know my thoughts about what I thought students were choosing. He asked, "Which engineering branch according to you is given the most preference these days?" Without a thought, I said, "Computer Science, closely followed by Electronics." Boy was I wrong!
The college ad showed statistics that civil engineering was the most preferred option a

Depends on your interest. For some people CSE is best, while for others mechanical is best. It all depends on your interest. If you do not have interest in any specific field, you can go for CSE.

I have always suggested CSE. You have good career opportunities in CSE. There are many IT companies in the country that almost gets everyone placed. So, I will recommend CSE to you as well.
