Which branch is better among aeronautical and petroleum engineering?

    If you are India, after studying Electronics and communication engineering most of the students gets job/work in IT companies. Only few percent gets chance in electronics companies. So I would suggest, better to study Computer Science engineering. If you want to sail through vast sea go with Marine engineering. Petroleum engineers have come a long way from just drilling a hole underground to produce oil by its natural energy, to very knowledgeable enhanced oil technology, to actually pushing oil from an injector well to a producer.     Mohd don't go with which stream is better. Go with what you want do after studying B.Tech. You may take following considerations. If you like computer, want to build crazy application or something related to software go with Computer Science engineering. If you like playing with machines/motors or electricity go ahead with Mechanical engineering. Or Electrical engineering.     The definition of best/better varies from person to person and is influenced by personal inclinations and ones strength for e.g. some people might to go with regular stream like CS, mechanical, electronics and some might go with not so common branches like robotics, petroleum, mining.
    Opt for the engineering branch that you love the most and are most passionate about and analyze the future work conditions, scope and growth prospects before taking admission
    You can also opt for psychometric test comprising of aptitude, personality and career interest to clear confusion.
