Which branch is better among civil and mechanical in MIT - Manipal in terms of teaching? What is the placement record?

Both the branches here are equally good teaching wise. The mechanical department is bigger though and has higher intake and more faculty. For both branches we have well equipped labs and quite knowledgeable professors. Placements is better for Mechanical since it's a more sought after branch.
