Which branch is better among electrical and mechanical engineering?

Both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering are core branches of engineering beside Civil Engineering. Electronics is specialization of Electrical engineering which is now treated as separate branch. Both branches have good diverse career options. Mechanical Engineering is a preferred branch as it is a recession proof evergreen branch. Nowadays students prefer EEE over pure electrical engineering to increase scope and job opportunities.

Electrical engineering is better than mechanical engineering because it has high scope now when compared to mechanical engineering and also has good placement opportunities.
