All the branches are good at Thapar Institute. You can choose either of them as per your interest, but personally, my favorite is electrical engineering at Thapar Institute. You get the most exposure and practical learning here and faculty members are very supportive. Do your best and Thapar will bring success for you. All the best.

I'll prefer you to opt for the electrical engineering, as the scope of this field in India is good, and you can easily get a decent pack job easily, but this can't be possible in the mechanical branch as there are very less jobs in India. Also, Thapar University has good placement in the electrical engineering not in the mechanical engineering.
