Which branch is better in B.Tech amongst IT, civil, electrical and mechanical?

If you are very good in Physics then I recommend B.Tech in Civil, EE, Mechanical as per your interest. However, if you are interested in computer Science, then go for B.Tech in IT. Each branch has its own challenges and prospects. It is subject to your own are of interest where you find your incline. In a nutshell, civil engineering is the best branch of engineering from the growth perspective. The demand for skilled civil engineers will never slow down worldwide as infrastructure projects, constructing the building, and much more structure will keep on increasing and will never be stagnant. With the changing time the concept of construction has also emanated. There are modern techniques that have changed the style of construction and design. Hence when you are deciding about B.Tech Civil Engineering you must lay your focus on Industrial exposure provided by the institution from where you are opting your course. I don't SEE a point in making a comparative between them. If you observe the current trend of the market there are more IT & software companies. So it is an obvious thing that there will be more influx of job there but if you observe the hiring model very closely every company has core jobs co related very closely. Different minds exhibit unlike actions and according to my opinion as an educator, ones interest decides which path to choose. But in terms of job opportunities I can share some highlights in regard to CSE programme offered at LPU. Engineering at LPU primarily CSE is a top-notch programme offering colossal growth to students and has the highest placement records where renowned companies visit our campus and offers record breaking packages that of 64 LPA (Lacs per annum) by Google, 62.72 LPA by Eightfold.
