ECE has better placement than Mechanical. But Mechanical has more future opportunities than ECE. But again that all depends on the interest of student. Sometimes Mechanical students are placed better than ECE students.

Hello, Greetings from Shiksha! First of all, you have to know your interest and go according to that and if you don't have any interest, I would like to suggest you to go for electronics and communication engineering because it has better placement than mechanical engineering. Good luck!
