ECE has better placement than Mechanical. But Mechanical has more future opportunities than ECE. But again that all depends on the interest of student. Sometimes Mechanical students are placed better than ECE students.

NIT Kurukshetra is a high reputed government institute and has good placement. So, you should go for mechanical engineering branch.

    Hello,
    Greetings from Shiksha!
First of all, you have to know your interest and go according to that and if you don't have any interest, I would like to suggest you to go for electronics and communication engineering because it has better placement than mechanical engineering. Good luck!
