Which branch of B.Tech is good at UPES in studies and placement?

UPES is decent, but surely not the best, infact it cannot even be compared to LPU. LPU is far ahead of any other private university. Well, which branch is good for you depends on your interest because definitely it is the person's interest which leads to their growth. Dear Sanyukta, As the world is shrinking and is becoming more and more digital, the scope for Computer Science is on a rise. You must have heard people from other specializations (Mechanical, Civil, Electronics, etc. ). Working in the Computer Science area. I must say You can pursue B.Tech in CSE. Lovely professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. If you get petroleum engineering branch then it will be the best option for you in UPES. And if your interest is in CSE then you should go for CS in cloud computing or CS in open source and standards or CS in cyber security. Placements of petroleum engineering are best. Also, placements of CSE are good but less than petroleum engineering.

Hello Yash, With the passage of time, numerous branches other than CS Petroleum and IT are blooming by the industrial collaboration of IBM, L&T, etc. Computer Science branches are offered the highest placement in UPES after which comes petroleum. Aerospace engineering is also a good branch to be chosen. Fire and Safety Students are offered above 10 LPA package this year. Remember, the records keep on changing depending on the package offered every year. It is you who determined your package regardless of in which branch you are studying.

Students participate in numerous automotive projects like GO-KART in which they were awarded for the most creative and innovative design too. If you are looking for a good career exposure along with the practical experience gained in your Bachelor's degree, go for UPES.
