Dear Sarvesh, Well, all the branches have a better future scope and related to each other. But as per my analysis, Civil is the Best Engineering Branch for future of the young graduates as construction tasks are getting popular across India. You can SEE the construction work going on in every street of India, so nothing can be better than this. My cousin also enrolled for B.Tech Civil at LPU based on my recommendation, let me share why I recommend LPU for Civil. 1. Most of the faculty staff are from reputed organizations with their the highest degree from various reputed institutes such as IITs, NITs, etc. Apart from that, faculty have got previous industrial experience also. 2. The capstone project is an integral part of the B.Tech programme in which students have to pick a live project based on the practical problem-based scenario (ideally from industry) and work for six months under a mentor and present a report at the end. This is beneficial to enhance your presentation skills. 3. There is an internship programme that could be an opportunity for getting work experience and increase your chance to get employment after you pass out. But, of course, your academic record should be good to get this placement option. 4. Industrial visits are organized to nearby construction sites from time to time. There, you can SEE actual construction work going on. Be prepared to have dust on your shoes (believe me, it will be worth a lot). You have to ask questions yourself and trigger interest in the activities around you. 5. You will get some courses from soft skills, English language, mental and analytical aptitude side. This sounds dull to you as of now. But you will feel its importance when you face an interview panel in a company during your placement drives. 6. They have very good placement records and good infrastructure companies visit their campus, L & T, Simplex Piles Ltd, Era Infrastructure, Gammon India Ltd to name a few. 7. Career-oriented Software training in project labs is given. To work in this profession, you are supposed to be familiar with software like MS-Project, STAAD Pro, MX Road, etc. Nonetheless, you will be trained in Auto CAD in your second year which is a prerequisite for any Civil Engineer. 8. Every theory course is complemented with relevant lab-based practical work. Some of the labs are based on field testing where experimental work is to be done, e. g. Soil Lab & Surveying Lab. Computer Science and Information Technology are one of the most evergreen professions and will continue to rise in the years to come. LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department has been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. Honestly speaking, the quality of education provided at any of the universities in India has been standardized by the autonomous body called University Grants Commission (UGC). It is just a matter of public opinion that sometimes condemns a university while over-hyping another. Of course, few other factors, such as the university intake of good candidates and the output of taught, trained, and efficient candidates who get successful placements during the course of the past couple of years, matter, of course, but lets get to that a while later. In regards to the stream concentric study of Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at Lovely Professional University, it is undoubtedly a very good idea. Krunal bhai I will suggest you that these days emphasis is on CSE, Civil and Mech. , but it also depends upon your choice. If you are somebody who wants to sit in an AC office then ofcourse CSE is for you but if you are somebody who doesn't mind working in the field then Civil and Mech. Are very good options. These days Civil and Mech. Students are also getting good offers. Now the most important thing is the university/ college that you choose for your degree. These days we have many good government as well as private universities like IITs, IITTs, NITs, LPU, SRM, etc. Offering admissions in different engineering branches. Some of them offer admission just on the basis of tests like JEE and some offer you admission on the basis of JEE/ their own test/ marks in previous qualifying exam.
