But as per my analysis, Civil is the Best Engineering Branch for future of the young graduates as construction tasks are getting popular across India. You can SEE the construction work going on in every street of India, so nothing can be better than this. My cousin also enrolled for B.Tech Civil at LPU based on my recommendation, let me share why I recommend LPU for Civil. 1. Most of the faculty staff are from reputed organizations with their the highest degree from various reputed institutes such as IITs, NITs, etc. Apart from that, faculty have got previous industrial experience also. 2. The capstone project is an integral part of the B.Tech programme in which students have to pick a live project based on the practical problem-based scenario (ideally from industry) and work for six months under a mentor and present a report at the end. This is beneficial to enhance your presentation skills. 3. There is an internship programme that could be an opportunity for getting work experience and increase your chance to get employment after you pass out. But, of course, your academic record should be good to get this placement option. 4. Industrial visits are organized to nearby construction sites from time to time. There, you can SEE actual construction work going on. Be prepared to have dust on your shoes (believe me, it will be worth a lot).
