Which branch of engineering has a better scope among EEE and ECE?

Hello There, EEE is like a mother branch and ECE is sort of derived from it. Both have a number of similar subjects. Their dissimilarity lies in that ECE has a major focus on semiconductor, transistor, op-amp, microprocessor, etc. EEE also touches these domains but maybe not as deeply. ECE also has communication subjects like Digital Signal Processing, Analog signal processing, satellite communication, etc. , whereas EEE has subject on motors, Transformers, Grid lines, etc. So you can choose according to your choice You must give it a deep though yourself for making a decision. Every field has ample number of jobs and opportunities for making a successful career out of it! The professionals from both of these fields are in great demand provided they have required skill sets, exposure and hands on experience in form of internships and projects. Second point : You must pursue your choice of course only in top universities like IITs, NITs, VIT, PEC, Thapar and LPU etc. This will help you kickstart your career with a good platform as they will ensure your initial placement.

So you can choose according to your aligned interests 2. This also depends upon the college you are going to join and the faculty there and which stream gets better placements and packages. (coz nowadays stream doesn't matter much until and unless you're joining a core company which specifically requires your skill sets and knowledge in a particular domain. And most of us end up in IT industry). You should choose your college or university wisely. Getting an engineering degree done from a well reputed college is what matters. University or college which not just focus on content but also helps you with the placements. HiA lot depends on your interest. Both streams are equally good and will give good ROI if pursued from a good university. I would opt for LPU for many reasons: 1. Engineering stream needs continuous endeavor by the student as well as the faculty as it is the demand of the market. For this you need a college of repute which would give you the best inputs for an all-round development. 2. Added to this, well-equipped nine story library and also a library each in various blocks. 3. Exposure of the students to the world market and a wide platform for the student to deal with the world level activities is a must. 4. Branches have equal opportunities to get a good job and the rest depends on how you study your engineering and enhance your skill so that those can be used in your work area. But remember that your college also plays an important role in your placements.
