As I think that if you're stuck at the admissions, whether to choose mechanical engineering or electrical engineering than I'd suggest you to choose that which you think is best for you. Both streams have their importance if we look for mechanical as we all know that Mechanical Engineering is a core

Its not about branch, it depends on your interest and skills. If you are in a good and reputed college, then each and every branch have equal amount of scope. In case you dont have any interest in any branch or any field, and you have just opted engineering for good money. Then go for Computer Scie
