Hello Sayan, As a general rule for placements, a lot more will depend upon your own hard work, communication & presentation skills and overall preparation. This would be true for any university you enroll in. As someone already said, all streams are good. It all depends on your interest and your life goals. To be successful in engineering field, you should have analytical mind set and logical thinking. Rest, the solid background in Maths & Physics is a pre-requisite for any stream as numerical and analytical analysis should be in your DNA to become a successful employable engineer. Otherwise, mere passing a degree with no such skills w

    Hi,
B.Tech CSE is the best option to go for these days, in terms of both scope and curriculum. Next comes ECE then Aeronautics and aerospace engineering. However, this particularity is chosen only when there is too much competition otherwise all streams are good and equally essential and performing.

B.Tech in CS or ECE is a good option as per today's requirement and there are good placements in the industry. But companies only take students who have extra skills along with the degree. They don't just take degree holders. So, do extra courses and job will be in your hand.

    Hi,
    How are you?
Well, each and every branch in engineering is good, we can't compare them. Just there are a few differences like mechanical, electrical and civil are evergreen branches but CS, IT and EC have high placement records.
Other than this, you may also take chemical, metallurgy, mechatronics, etc.
    So, choose a suitable branch.
    Go for it.
    Thank you and keep asking!

I've had a really good experience with the mechanical engineering faculty at Chandigarh University. Most of them are PhD holders, so you can tell they know their subject inside out. What I like is that they're not just teaching from books—they share real-world examples, guide us in labs, and help with projects. The faculty is approachable, so if you ever get stuck on something, you can just ask, and they'll explain patiently. They also encourage students to explore electives like Thermal & Energy Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing, or Design & Robotics, and help you pick what suits your career goals.

Yes, Chandigarh University is a good choice for B.E. in Mechanical Engineering. What I really like about the programme is the variety of specializations you can pick, like Thermal & Energy, Industrial Manufacturing & Management, or Automation & Robotics. The labs are another strong point from 3D printing and advanced welding labs to industry-backed centres by Honda, Mahindra, Hyundai, and MG Motors. These collaborations give you hands-on exposure that feels very close to real-world industry work. On top of that, the department is both ABET and NBA accredited, which adds global recognition. With regular industrial visits, workshops, and
