Which branch of engineering is better among chemical engineering & metallurgical engineering and why ?

Metallurgical engineering is a very nice branch of engineering. Chemical engineering is having a wider scope and opportunities in comparison to metallurgical engineering.

India is striving hard to become a manufacturing economy from current service sector economy with the government initiative of Make in India. It is moving towards manufacturing based rater than the service based economy and that is the reason behind mechanical being the preferred branch. You can also go for Computer science as it has got no ending career prospects in the top IT firms with good careers prospects ahead.
