You should opt for mechanical engineering. It has better scope as compared to production and instrumentation branches.

    Hi,
    How are you?
Well, each and every branch in engineering is good, we can't compare them. Just there are a few differences like mechanical, electrical and civil are evergreen branches but CS, IT and EC have high placement records.
Other than this, you may also take chemical, metallurgy, mechatronics, etc.
    So, choose a suitable branch.
    Go for it.
    Thank you and keep asking!

Mechanical is a highly interest-specific branch. You see, only if you are interested in all such stuff, automobiles, machinery etc., you should opt mechanical. The subjects are really tough. But of course mechanical has the widest scope out of all of them. Government jobs, Public sector units, GATE, IES, private companies and much more. Second preference could be instrumentation since it is a highly developing and rising branch with a lot of opportunities.
