EEE involves electronics and electrical study while ECE involves study of electronics and some part of communications. In core companies, demand of EEE is more in comparison to ECE. Whereas ECE students can apply for IT companies as well. EEE students don't have much scope in IES while ECE students

It depends on your college because both the branches have equal opportunities to get a good job and the rest depends on how you study your engineering and enhance your skill so that those can be used in your work area.
