The definition of best varies from person to person and is influenced by personal inclinations and one's strength for e.g. some people might to go with regular stream like CS, mechanical, Electronics and some might go with not so common branches like Robotics, petroleum, mining.
Opt for the engineering branch that you love the most and are most passionate about and analyze the future work conditions, scope and growth prospects before taking admission

    Hello Manoj,
Both the field are very good. If you like to work more on software and very less on hardware, than IT is better for you. If you want to work more on hardware with little software, than ECE is better.

You cannot differentiate because there are jobs for IT guys and jobs for core branch guys also, but it depends on how you perform in a particular field. Getting a software job is easier because of number of jobs available is more in software but again everything depends on your interests.
If you get into a college like IITs and NITs or BITS and VJTI or COEP then no matter what branch you are in, you'll find a job, but for normal colleges mostly people prefer software and electronics people also end up in software development or testing.

It is basically on your personal level but thing which matters is that it/cse field has jobs which consist of developing software's and stuff but ece has more scope of research rather than job in India as the plants over here can only be preserved not replaced plus India doesn't have a big market of chipset or semiconductor for e.g. companies like Qualcom etc. Hence cse has got more plus points so it's about your own interest .

Krunal bhai I will suggest you that these days emphasis is on CSE, Civil and Mech. , but it also depends upon your choice. If you are somebody who wants to sit in an AC office then ofcourse CSE is for you but if you are somebody who doesn't mind working in the field then Civil and Mech. Are very good options. These days Civil and Mech. Students are also getting good offers. Now the most important thing is the university/ college that you choose for your degree. These days we have many good government as well as private universities like IITs, IITTs, NITs, LPU, SRM, etc. Offering admissions in different engineering branches. Some of the

It depends on your interest but yet B.Tech in IT has scope if you wish to go for MNC companies related to software sector and if you wish to enter into core companies then you can go for BE in ECE.
