Which branch of engineering is having the best scope among CS & IT?

    Both branches are only a bit different but CS is more preferred over IT

    If you would love Servers, Networking, Database design and architectures, Systems and want to be Network Architect, System Admin and Solution Architect then IT is a good choice.
    Otherwise CS is more of Software development, especially the mechanics of computation, data processing, and systems control. They understand the intricacies of computer theory and master the mathematical algorithms necessary to write code and develop innovative computer hardware, software programs, and operating systems.

    B.Tech CS is the de facto most accepted branch in IT industry followed by B.Tech IT and MCA.

    Hi,
    These days CSE is in more demand and the packages offered by recruiters are pretty good as compared to that offered to an IT graduate. Also the scope expands if you choose CSE.

    CS is a bit better bcoz with programming and software it has some part of hardware study of computers also.

    both are the best in terms of scope. but CS is slightly better than IT
