Which branch of engineering should I opt for in B.Tech?
I want to pursue software engineering. I scored 73 percent marks in HSC. In JEE Mains exam, I scored 75 marks and my rank is 6531.

First Your 12th Board stream Must be Math(Science) Then you should go for CS in B-tech for U-Graduation Course.

This is computer science field but today companies hire software engineer also from ECE branch so you can choose any one in which you are interested both are good but if you like programming so much then Computer science is better options line you can improve you programming skills more better
