Which branch of engineering should I opt for in B.Tech?
I want to design cars and their parts.

Hello Ravinder,
The choice of the engineering branch depends on your interest. In your case, automobile engineering would be the best choice.
Below mentioned are the reasons:
1. Market conditions vary every 6 months to 1 year. Engineering is a 4 year course. There is a high chance that the field which looks the most promising at the time of taking admission might not be good when you complete engineering.
2. Engineering mostly involves practical skills rather than theoretical knowledge. If you choose a stream based on market trends, chances are that you might not be able to understand the subject properly. This may result in lesser grades...more -
