As per NASSCOM, Indian IT Industry revenues grew by 13% in FY2015 and it added 2,30,000 employees in FY15. NASSCOM has forecasted that IT industry exports will grow by 12-14% and domestic market by 15-17% in FY2016. Therefore, maximum opportunities are for B.Tech CSE graduates. However, mechanical and ECE are evergreen core branches with wider scope. You may choose any branch based on your interest to excel as an engineer.
