Which branch offers more opportunities in LPU? What are the chances that one would place after completing this course from this college?

Vikas, seeing the past record and alumni of LPU, I feel CSE offers more opportunities. The placement record of the university is commendable. If a student is going to work hard and maintain consistent academic record, nothing can stop the student from getting placed as LPU provides good placement assistance to students in the form of placement classes where students are arduously prepared for recruitment drives. This is something that I have come to know from my family friends whose daughter is studying there in LPU. Good luck.

<p>There are more branches with better placements at LPU such as Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electricals (EE), and Mechanical Engineering (ME). In fact, the CSE branch holds one of the most enviable average packages with esteemed recruiters like Microsoft, Apple, Google, Infosys, and TCS. Though branches like Biotechnology and Civil Engineering do have good placements, LPU is said to maintain an overall placement rate of around 90 percent for BTech students. The best packages go up to INR 2.5 crore (off-campus) and on-campus the highest packages are quoted at up to INR 64 LPA. The university claims to have more than 6,000 job offers from over 2,200 recruiters in this year's placement drives, indicating fairly good opportunities for students in all branches. So while CSE and related IT branches fetch the best and most opportunities, overall placement chances are decent for B.Tech students passing out in any of the engineering disciplines at LPU.</p>

Vikas, all the branches offer equal opportunities but CSE has better scope and best placements in the university. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students.
