Which branch should I choose among CSE and ME for B.Tech? What is their scope?
I scored 78.6% with PCM in class 12th.

Personal interest should be given utmost importance in branch selection. Other factors count later. So firstly, decide your field of interest. Do some web searches and introspect yourself.
For future prospects, ME is an evergreen branch. You can always get decent jobs there with your skills.
Don't lure into CSE by thinking about 1-2 crores packages offered to some students. Think rationally. -
