Saurabh ! it is suggested to choose the stream based on your interest.both the streams are doing equally good and moreover their scopes are also same.it is suggested you to choose the stream based on your interest.CSE is a software-based field while ME is a core engineering.
choose the college cautiously.here are some of the institutes in which you can go for admissions:
    1.Lovely Professional University
    2.IIT
    3.BITS
Lovely Professional University has been ranked among the top schools of this country.this university along with assured placements venture in their students an unmatched entrepreneurial skills that make them efficient manager.

The selection of branch depends upon your own interest and if you love to work with computers then go for CSE and if you like to work physically then can go for mechanical engineering as the branch of your interest will surely make you more successful and you will not feel it like a burden on you .
