Hi, Mechanical engineering at Thapar University is better than electrical. The placements, faculty are world-class. Infrastructure and labs are also well-equipped. So, go for mechanical at Thapar University.

Hello Kapil, If you have interest in ME then you should go for it but if you are not interested in mechanical engineering then I think you should opt for EE.

Both are good branches and, of course, both are core branches too. So, according to me, suggesting something is unfair as both the branches have equal value. So, choose a branch in which you find some interest as mechanical is all about mechanics and electrical is all about electricity. Good luck.
