Your rank is good enough to choose your branch according to your interest and you may get CS in Chennai campus.

Let me explain you the admission system here. Rank in VIT to get admission should be 90,000, so you can get admission in VIT from the 6th category as well. There are various categories as well. With each category admission, fees go high. First category closed till 15,000 rank, and you can get CSE till 9000 rank and IT till 11000 rank, but there are 2nd category as well, if you want CSE, but you have to pay more for that. But if you want branch in first category in this, much rank then u will get civil, electronics. You will not get Chennai in first categroy but maybe in sixth category with this much rank and your fees will be around 5.

It's quite difficult to predict. No one can tell according to marks as VIT never disclose the marks. But let me give you a hint-
    CSE Vellore closing rank-5000,
    IT Vellore closing rank-9000,
    CSE Chennai closing rank-10,000.
All these are based on previous data observation. You can try for NIT's and other government colleges as well. You can also predict the colleges which can get from given link:

To prepare the VITEEE cutoff, the authorities will take into account different admission and exam related factors. Some of the important factors that will be considered to prepare the cutoff are the previous year's cutoff trends, exam difficulty level, total number of applicants, number of available seats for admission and more.

After the students are allotted seats, they will have to confirm their VITEEE admission. The tuition fee has to be paid and the students will have to report to their institute to verify their documents. The original documents along with a set of photocopies have to submitted for verification. If the admission is not confirmed, the students will lose their allotted seats.
